The Bungalow Musical

This is the story of The Bungalow which was a small venue at the bottom of Renfrew Road, Paisley during the 70’s and 80’s which became a legend in the UK music scene. Those amazing days are brought to life with a full cast of live bands, dancers and actors. The story has never been told before and this will be the first show of its kind showcasing this iconic venue’s rise to fame.
The show is ground breaking and innovative full of punk classics and more. It’s a nostalgic trip for those who went there and experienced it and it also captures the imagination of those that didn’t.
It’s difficult to imagine that a little place in Paisley attracted such big names as The Fall, The Skids, Annie Lennox and The Tourists, Orange juice, Roddy Frame, Tenpole Tudor, The Buzzcocks, Echo and the Bunnymen, Aztec Camera, The Teardrop Explodes, Simple Minds, and Souxie and the Banshees

Our Story

LOUD ‘n’ PROUD is a youth charity which has, for over a decade, established itself at the forefront of the development of young musicians in Scotland.

It is a place for talented, hard working young musicians and performers to thrive. We work with more bands than any other similar organisation and we have an incredible mix of young people.

While several of our pupils have gone on to win NATIONAL titles in their chosen field, many others just love to make music in a safe and inspiring environment, exactly what we provide here at Loud ‘n’ Proud.

We have found over the years that music making has an amazing impact on young people’s confidence, social practice, concentration, creativity and general outlook on life. We give our pupils the confidence and encouragement to achieve their dreams whatever they may be!
